A review of information in my database produced enough evidence to name the unkowns in the above photograph as: in the rear, Eliza (Marsh) Gravener, sister of Hannah (Marsh) Dann, with her hand on the shoulder of her daughter Matilda Gravener; and in the centre row is Hannah (Marsh) Dann's mother, Hannah (Stone) Marsh.

Gillian's Notes
This may be a Marsh relation. The photo is a Carte de Visite and on the back it says Wallis Photographer Broad Street Folkestone. Broad Street is a tiny typewritten label glued over a former address? Size of card is 2 ½ inches by 4 ¼ inches.  It would be early 1860s and the woman looks about 20.

Gillian's Notes
An Ambrotype. Would the clothes perhaps be American? I have two other Ambrotypes I think I can identify, taken at Rye 1858. A little boy in one of them is wearing clothes which look distinctly English
